What started as a simple perl script has turned into a full-fledged multimedia search site.
During it's 18-month lifetime, it performed several million searches.
The plethora of other search engines and the advent of P2P networks have both rendered the site obsolete.
While doing this I learned IPC, SQL, PHP, DHTML, server administration, and much more.

This is a site I made way back in 1997 (Jr year in HS).
It was pretty much the first cgi-enabled site that I did.
I had made it to learn cgi/perl and hoped that it'd be helpful to the public;
It was supposed to help make it easier for people to find the bes deals when buying a new computer.

SHS Directory - a convenient directory for finding contact information for Saratoga High School students
and its alumni. To minimize random traffic I've implemented a simple password, the school mascot.
